Daniel A. Draper founded Draper Tax Consulting to offer companies Big Four–level fixed asset tax expertise without the cost and layers of a large firm. With more than 35 years of experience, he works directly with clients to deliver technically rigorous, defensible tax solutions that reduce tax liability and improve cash flow.

Mr. Draper spent 15 years with a Big Four accounting firm, most recently as a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, advising clients on cost segregation, depreciation analysis, and property tax matters across a wide range of industries. Today, clients benefit from that same level of expertise—applied personally and efficiently, without the overhead, staffing leverage, or fee structure typically associated with large firms.

Unlike large consulting teams, Mr. Draper remains directly involved in each engagement. Clients work with a senior expert throughout the project, ensuring consistency, accountability, and a deep understanding of their assets and objectives. This approach allows clients to receive 35 years of hands-on experience applied to their project—at a fraction of the cost of a large accounting firm.

Mr. Draper holds a Bachelor of Science degree with High Distinction in Accounting from Babson College. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts and a Certified Member of the American Society of Cost Segregation Professionals. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
